Sizing

Recommended Fit

The fleece belly panel can scrunch up to accommodate skinnier dogs, and you can even wiggle the black slider through the fleece belly strap panel. For length, on shorter dogs, the neck gaiter will scrunch up a bit, and on longer dogs it'll cover more of their back. If your dog is on the longer side, the back leg straps are optional to use. The head opening is mostly for reference for pittie-types and other big-headed pups! For more info on jacket fit, check out our measuring guide.

The Wilderdog fleece jacket fits over OR under our harness. If you prefer to use the back mounted D-ring on the harness, you'll want to put the jacket under the harness. If you prefer to use the chest mounted D-ring, the jacket can go over or under the harness. A leash clips easily onto a collar D-ring while the jacket is being worn.

Stylish option for colder months

This was long enough for our Boykin and very stylish. However, the back straps kept coming off so we had to remove and this does slide around a bit. So took off a star for that

Comfy and cozy fleece for my pup!

High quality, love the color, and covers my little Jack Russell mix perfectly. I like the wrap-around clip that allows me to cinch it in a bit.

Great sweaters !

I got a size small for my 8 lb Maltese mix and a size medium for my 20 lb poodle/terrier mix. The Maltese gets pretty cold on his morning walks and I’ve noticed his collapsed trachea acts up more in the cold. This jacket keeps his chest warm while giving his throat the space it needs unlike other turtlenecks. I also love the long back keeping their legs warm. The back straps are removable and I find that the back still stays in place without them so I went ahead and took them off.
